WWII Thriller MR. JONES Trailer and Poster Released, Based on a True Story

Check out the new trailer and poster for WWII thriller Mr. Jones, starring James Norton (Little Women), Vanessa Kirby (Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw), and Peter Sarsgaard (The Magnificent Seven).

Agnieszka Holland’s thriller, set pre-WWII, sees Hitler’s rise to power and Stalin’s Soviet propaganda machine pushing their “utopia” to the Western world. Meanwhile an ambitious young journalist, Gareth Jones (Norton) travels to Moscow to uncover the truth behind the propaganda, but then gets a tip that could expose an international conspiracy, one that could cost him and his informant their lives. Jones goes on a life-or-death journey to uncover the truth behind the façade that would later inspire George Orwell’s seminal book Animal Farm.

This movie looks amazing and it is based on a true story within WWII. I love war movies and this one looks solid, and Norton is a brilliant actor that I know who can deliver what it takes to make a good movie. Mr. Jones will hit theaters this April.
