Xbox One Custom Controllers Inspired by 1960s Racecars

Microsoft has revealed new custom Xbox One controllers to commemorate this weekend’s 24 Hours of Le Mans racing event in France. Specifically, the controllers, designed by the Xbox Hardware team, draw inspiration from three classic 1960s era Ford cars raced by Americans in Le Mans and other events.

These controllers will be on display at the Le Mans event itself June 12-14. They will then be packed up and transported to Los Angeles for people to see at E3, presumably at Microsoft’s booth on the show floor.

Microsoft is a sponsor of the 24 Hours of Le Mans event. Forza Motorsport 3, 4, and 5 all featured the race’s Circuit de la Sarthe track, while Forza 6 will also have the circuit, with both historic and current configurations.

We’re expecting more news about Forza 6 at E3, including a first look at gameplay. Recently, a leak revealed that the game will have 450-plus cars and “breathtaking graphics.”

The controllers will be on display next week at E3. Which one you like the best say in the comments below.
